The project includes the rehabilitation of the Gotthard pass road. Lombardi Ltd. is responsible for the electromechanical and safety equipment. The project is divided into three distinct areas: - Schöllenen (Göschenen to Andermatt) - Gotthard north (Andermatt to pass height) - Gotthard south (Pass height to Airolo). The road stretches comprise both open-sky road segments as well as various tunnels and avalanche protection galleries. Important rehabilitation works are required in particular for the single-tube tunnel Costoni di Fieud which will be equipped with a safety tunnel.
